“Selection will ensure equitable regional and gender representation including people living with disabilities."

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Social Development and Disaster Management, Sadiya Umar-Faruk on Thursday, 11th March, 2021 launched the takeoff of  Npower Batch C. During the launch, she said the Batch C beneficiaries will be selected through National Social Investment Information Management System. This is to ensure transparency, institutional memory, dynamic impact assessment of the program. It will enhance seamless selection, onboarding, support, payment of stipends, and transition into various job opportunities both in private sector and government agencies. “Through this portal, beneficiaries will receive their stipends on time, have access to wide range of industry specific content for leveraging enterprise learning, communicate their voices and promptly receive feedback from the program implementation teams.

"They will experience a redefined and seamless beneficiary verification process, efficient transition and exit management plan which will enable beneficiaries to be migrated automatically to the NEXIT Program for possible placement and employment opportunities with Federal Government agencies."
