NPOWER BATCH C NASIMS UPDATE: Minister Provides Answers To Applicants Most Frequently Asked Questions


Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Social Development and Disaster Management through the SA to the Minister, Nneka Ikem on Friday, 19th March, 2012 provided answers to questions most batch C Npower applicants are asking. These questions arise from difficulties the applicants are facing in trying to update their data and take assessment test on National Social Investment Information Management System, NASIMS portal.

The Minister on 11th of March launched Npower Batch C, which marked the commencement of the program. The applicants were directed to update their information, and take assessment test on NASIMS portal, www.nasims.gov.ng. Some beneficiaries have been finding it difficult to successfully update their data and take the online test, and have been asking questions on how they can resolve the hiccups. 

Below are some of the questions and answers provided by the Ministry. Although, these may not be all the questions the applicants are asking, the Ministry selected the most frequently asked questions. MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

FAQ 1. I tried to reset my password but didn’t get the reset password 

ANS.  

  • Applicants should wait for a few hours and try again 
  • Please note that you are expected to send reset password request just once and wait for the mail. 
  • If applicant requests for reset link multiple times, applicant should use most recent link. i.e: if you sent reset three times, three links were later sent to you, use the last link. The first two links have been cancelled because you requested for another. 
  • Applicant should ensure to check ‘SPAM FOLDER’ if link is not received after several hours. 

FAQ 2. Unable to validate BVN

ANS.

  • Applicant should ensure correct Date of Birth as registered with BVN//Bank is imputed. Make sure your Date of Birth on BVN is the same as the one on NASIMS portal. 
  • This could be network failure, applicant should try again, if there is no  discrepancies in Date of Birth 

FAQ 3. Unable to update my profile 

ANS. 

  • It could be network issues, you should try again after several hours. 

FAQ 4. Account blocked when trying to take test 

ANS.

  • Applicants are allowed a maximum of 3 attempts to take the online test after which the test account will be blocked 
  • After initial 3 attempts, applicants are allowed 1 final attempt after 6 hours. That means you can only attempt the test for a total of 4 times. 

FAQ 5. I can’t find my test score after writing the test

  • You should ensure to check ‘SUBMIT' button after providing answers to all questions.
