But there may be some circumstances that will lead to you not having access to the phone number. Cases such as phone theft or loss, blocking of your SIM by your mobile telecommunications services provider, and so on. In such cases, you may want to change your phone number on PalmPay.

What are the Requirements to Change Your Phone Number on PalmPay?

To change your phone number on PalmPay, you need to provide the following:

New phone number you want to change to

One Time Password (OTP) that will be sent to the new number to confirm that you have access to the number. The OTP may be also sent to your email address used when you created the account to confirm that you’re the one making the change on your account.

How Do You Change Your Phone Number on PalmPay?

Now follow these simple steps to change your phone number on PalmPay. The change is effected on the app or on the PalmPay webpage.

Open the PalmPay app on your mobile device or open PalmPay webpage on your web browser, preferably Chrome browser.

Log into your PalmPay account with your existing (old) phone number, and your PIN or biometric authentication (if that is what you’re using)

Navigate to your profile at the top left corner of your dashboard.

Click on Mobile Number.

You will be asked to enter your PIN to proceed with the update. Enter your PalmPay PIN and click on Continue.

You will be prompted to enter new Mobile Number. Enter your new phone number and click Continue.

A One-Time-Password (OTP) will be sent to your new mobile number you entered. Enter the OTP and Click Confirm. Click on Change.

The system will process the information you provided, once it’s confirmed, you will receive a notification that you have successfully changed your  PalmPay Account’s mobile number.

How to Add or Change Your NIN/BVN on PalmPay

In case you have not added your linked your BVN and or NIN to your PalmPay account or you made a mistake while adding them, you now want to change them, follow the steps below.

Open your PalmPay app

Click on Profile Settings

Navigate to KYC/Verification section.

 

Click on Add NIN/BVN

Enter your NIN or BVN according to the instructions.
