Cluster Analysis

Clustering or cluster analysis is the process of grouping element according their similar characteristics or variable measurements. The methods involved in cluster analysis procedure include:

Correlation

Correlation is used to measure the degree of relationship that exists between two variables. The degree of linear relationship between two variables are measured between -1 to +1. Where correlation value close to +1 indicates strong positive linear relationship, correlation value close to -1 indicates strong negative linear relationship, and near 0 shows little linear relationship between two given variables.
