Nigeria Eligible for Twitter Monetization as Users Receive Payments: See How to Qualify

X formerly known as Twitter, has started paying Nigerian content creators and social media influencers on the social media platform via its ad revenue-sharing model. The payment began in July 2023, and Nigerian users who were paid displayed different amounts received from the microblogging platform.

The micro-blogging site had announced the programme's extension to global users at the end of July, which means content creators in Nigeria and other parts of the world can now benefit from Twitter’s Ads Revenue Sharing monetization.

Verified users in Nigeria and worldwide, who met the criteria and the impressions threshold on their posts and content, received payment

Some of the content creators who were paid for July took to the platform to display their receipts and appreciate Twitter owner Elon Musk.

According to the creators, Musk has given them a reason to remain on the platform and continue churning engaging content.
