Meta Launches WhatsApp Smartwatch App that Allows Users Use WhatsApp on Wrist

 


Meta Inc Founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday announced the launch of WhatsApp Smartwatch App that will enable users "start new conversations, reply to messages, and take calls" on their wrists.

The messaging app owner, Zuckerberg, who announced this on his verified Facebook page, said that it has been announced at Google I/O that the shipment of the WhatsApp smartwatch app on Wear OS will commence before the end of this year.

What Mark Zuckerberg said:

"Announced at Google I/O that we're shipping the first WhatsApp smartwatch app on Wear OS later this year."

"You'll be able to start new conversations, reply to messages, and take calls on your wrist."


Meta Inc  recently introduced new WhatsApp feature that enables users to access one account on up to four different mobile phones.

Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg said the aim for adding the new feature was to make WhatsApp more user-friendly and convenient.
