Kwankwanso Flogs Tinubu in Kano, Leads in 29 LGAs


The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwanso is leading in Kano State with 270,000 votes across 38 Local Government Areas announced so far.

The results announced at the state collation centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), shows that Bola Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is behind Kwankwaso with just 464,133 votes. 

While Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has garnered 86,162 votes, as Peter Obi of Labour Party secured 8,926 votes. 

Out of the 38 Local Government Areas (LGAs) announced so far, NNPP won 29, while APC won the rest 9 LGAs. PDP and LP are yet to win an LG.
