The All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, says he is hale and hearty, and still in the 2023 presidential race.

This is coming amid concern about his health condition, and his absence in the political campaign activities.

To make his point,  Tinubu shared a seven seconds workout video on his Twitter handle, where he was seen riding on a stationary bicycle.

“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign,” the APC candidate tweeted on Sunday through his verified handle to show Nigerians, especially his critics a ‘poof of life’.

“Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”

The APC flagbearer’s  health has been a major concern for Nigerians while his whereabouts in the past few days was unknown.

The APC candidate had been absent at three key events leading to 2023 presidential, most especially at the signing of the peace pact by all candidates taking part in the election, held in Abuja, on Thursday.

Other presidential candidates contesting the  for the 2023 presidency were physically present at the peace accord but Mr Tinubu was represented by his running-mate, Kashim Shettima, and this has further raised questions about his preparedness to govern the country.

Following much criticisms on his absence at the peace pact signing and speculations on his wayabouts, the spokesman for  Tinubu’s APC campaign council, Bayo Onanuga, on Friday confirmed his whereabouts, saying he is in London resting.

“Tinubu’s whereabouts. He is in London, in his house.  Tinubu left Nigeria on Saturday night for a short break and in readiness for what will certainly be a gruelling campaign. I saw him, spoke with him two hours before he left. He was hale and hearty. He was not ill. He didn’t go to treat any ailment,” Mr Onanuga wrote on his Facebook page.
