Jeff Bezos Assembles Team of Scientists to Develop Technology to Help Human Live Forever

Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon is hiring a team of scientists to develop immortality technology

The world billionaire on Wednesday launched his Alto Labs for the project. He has already hired Hal Barron, former scientific officer at the GlaxoSmithKline, as the Alto Lab chief executive officer, according to a press release from the startup.

“I am deeply honored to have been offered this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead such a unique company with a transformative mission to reverse disease,” Barron said

Other members of the team to help develop the anti-aging technology are Jennifer Doudna, the co-winner of the 2020 Nobel prize in chemistry for her role in developing the gene-editing tool CRISPR, and Dr. Shinya Yamanaka, the winner of the 2020 Nobel prize in medicine for his work in stem cell research.

Jeff Bezos and his rival billionaire, Elon Musk have been a race to alter the planet order, where the later wants to have a living place for humans on Mas other than Earth, and the former wants to fight death so that humans can become immortals. Jeff Bezos is collaborating with Russian-Israeli billionaire, Yuri Miler in the anti-aging technology.

The startup has already secured more than $43 billion in funding, Jeff Bezos announced during the official launch.

According to report by Futurism, the objective of the project is to achieve biological reprogramming in human. The method is essentially rejuvenating cells after they have matured, which could help the cells to repair your body as it ages and even age-related diseases like dementia.

So lets see if truly the technology would help human stay younger forever without aging and dying. Whether the project is going to be a success or not, at least history will be made.
