President Muhammadu Buhari has gone into self isolation after returning of London as Nigeria's High Commissioner to United Kingdom, Ambassador Tunji Ishola who had contact with him at London tests positive to Covid-19.
Buhari visited Nigeria High Commission in London and was welcomed by the Ambassador.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu comfirmed to journalists today in Abuja.
"Yes, it is true. President and his aides have gone into isolation," Garba Shehu responded when asked about the development.
Buhari alongside his aides and entourage to UK are to go into isolation.
Those who went to UK with him includes, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geofry Onyeama; National Security Adviser, Babagana Mungunu; State Minister for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; National Intelligence Agancy, and others.
Nigerian High Commission, Abuja House, London has been shutdown for 10 days in compliance with United Kingdom's guidelines.
