Speedtest Global Index has released the ranking of mobile and fixed broadband speeds from around the world

Ghana ranked number one in Africa and 79th globally on fixed broadband speed, with a speed of 53.28 Mbps. This means Ghana’s fixed broadband is the fastest in Africa.

Ghana is followed by South Africa, which placed 85th in the world. Egypt ranked third in Africa. While Burkina Faso ranked 10. Unfortunately, countries like Nigeria, Cameron are missing in the list of top 10 countries with fastest fixed broadband in Africa.
